During this 22-days journey you have the opportunity to experience the culture of Mongolia. Moreover you enjoy both nature and habitants. Furthermore you get to know the most important landscapes and cultural aspects of different parts of Mongolia such as south, central and north Mongolia.

This journey is suitable for first time travelers in Mongolia.

• Day 1:
  Departure from Europe to Ulaanbaatar/Chinggis Khan.
• Day 2: Ulaanbaatar
  Arrival at Ulaanbaatar/Chinggis Khan Airport and transfer to the yurt (Ger) camp, Visit of the Gandan monastery and the Tschojdshin-Lamy monastery museum. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
• Day 3: Baga Gazriin Chuluu Mountains
  Drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu Mountains, which arises pictorially out of the flat landscapes. Overnight at a camp encircled by rough rocks.
• Day 4: Tsagaan Suvarga
  Drive to “Tsagaan Survarga”, where the forces of nature create special eroded lump of rocks. They are called “white and red stupa” because of their colour and shape.
• Day 5: Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park
  Continuation of our journey to Gobi desert, we visit the impressive vulture canyon “Yoliin Am” in the Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park, where we are going to walk along the spectacular lump of rocks. The visitation of the Gobi museum is the last part of our day's schedule.
• Day 6: Bayanzag
  Today we drive to Bayanzag, where the first fossils of dinosaurs were discovered. In the afternoon we plan a walking tour to the “Blistering Rocks”. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
• Day 7: Ongiin Gol
  Lake Ongiin Gol in direction to central Mongolia. Old temple ruins close to the bank can be visited here. Later on walk and overnight at the camp.
• Day 8: Arwaikheer
  Today we drive to the provincial town Arvaikheer in north direction. Stroll down the bazaar and overnight at the camp.
• Day 9: Waterfall of Ulaan Gol
  Continuation of our journey to the Orkhon valley and to the waterfall of Ulaan Gol Lake, which is part of the Khangai National Park, moreover we visit a yak grower family, who gives us a short insight into the Mongolian cuisine. A short walking-tour and overnight at an extra yurt.
• Day 10: Karakorum
  Tour to Karakorum, the historical capital city of Mongolia, visiting the monastery Erdene Zuu (World Heritage Site) and archaeological excavation. Overnight at the camp
• Day 11: Provincial town Tsetserleg
  Provincial town Tsetserleg (flower garden), where we visit the fascinating monastery Zaya Pandita and the bazaar. Continuation to lake "Tamir", where we high granite stones marked with mineral coloured paintings.
• Day 12: Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur
  Tour along the canyon of Tschuluut River to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur, which is pictorially embedded into the volcanic landscape. Overnight at the same Extra-Ger for two days.
• Day 13: White Lake
  Leisure time, possibility to discover one of the frozen volcanic crater.
• Day 14-15: Village Khatgal
  Continuation of our trip to Lake Khövsgöl in north direction, on the way we are going to pass the provincial town Mörön. Overnight at the camp with hot springs and at the village Khatgal close to the lake.
• Day 16-17: Lake Huvsgul
  Arrival at the camp with a panoramic view over the lake. Riding or walking to the reindeer grower is optional.
• Day 18: Mörön
  Return to Mörön passing deer stones, overnight at the hotel.
• Day 19: National Park Uran Togoo
  National Park Uran Togoo in South-Eastern direction, where the extinct volcanic crater Tulga is located, walk to the volcano and overnight at a yurt.
• Day 20: Amarbayasgalant Khiid monastery
  Continuation of our trip to the Amarbayasgalant Khiid monastery, one of the most important monasteries of Mongolia, it was built in the 18 century. Overnight at the camp.
• Day 21: Ulaanbaatar
  In the morning 6 hours drive to Ulaanbaatar, where you can discover the city by yourself. Farewell dinner with folklore and overnight at hotel.
• Day 22: Departure
  Transfer to the airport and departure to Germany.
