3 Days in Mongolia

Get some insight into the country, the people and the culture of Mongolia and a city tour through Ulaanbaatar.

• Day 1: Ulaanbaatar
  Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, drive to the yurt camp south of the city to take a shower and to relax, afternoon City tour: Bogd Khan Museum (Winter Palace of the last king of Mongolia) and the Natural History Museum. Folklore evening, first night in the yurt.
• Day 2: National Park Gorkhi Terelj
  In the morning a short drive to the Gorkhi Terelj National Park, hike to the temple Aryaval on top of a hill and to the turtle rock. Lunch in yurt camp, afterwards drive to the 40m high monument of Chinggis Khan, visit to a nomadic family, possibility for horse riding. Late afternoon return to the capital city, transfer to the hotel, farewell dinner.
